2. Once you see the Apple CarPlay screen in your car, go to where you want to take the screenshot.
3. If you have an iPhone with Face ID , take a screenshot on the iPhone by pressing the side or power button and the volume up button . If you have an iPhone with Touch ID , press the Side or Power button and the Home button .
4. And that’s it. When you take a screenshot on your iPhone connected to CarPlay, it takes both screenshots simultaneously . Go to the Photos app and check that it went well. You should see two screenshots: one from your iPhone and the other from CarPlay.

How to make a screen recording in Apple CarPlay

1. Connect your iPhone to your car’s Apple CarPlay via cable or wirelessly.
2. Once you see the Apple CarPlay screen in your car, go to where you want to do the screen recording.
3. Swipe down from the top right of your iPhone screen and hit the record screen icon (it’s two circles). If you don’t see it , go to Settings > Control Center > More controls > Screen recording.
4. Click on the button to record screen and in the same way as in the previous tutorial, it will simultaneously record the two screens.
5. Go to the Photos app and check that it was done correctly.
