How to Copy Image Text to iPhone [Live Text]

Starting with the iOS 15 update , users will be able to use a new function called Live Text in a smart and very simple way. Thus, when using the device’s camera or selecting a photo from the gallery, the system will identify texts in these images, from plaques to handwritten recipes. Check out how to copy text from image to iPhone.

Live Text available from iOS 15 onwards

It is worth remembering that the Live Text function is available from iOS 15, the 2021 update for some iPhone and iPod touch models . Anyone who signed up for the beta program and tested the system before the official release has already been able to use the feature.

How to copy text from image to iPhone

  1. Open the camera app on your iPhone;
  2. Point the camera at any image that has text;
  3. A button will appear in the lower right corner indicating the possibility of using Live Text;
  4. Tap this button;
  5. Tap the Copy button;
  6. Paste the text into any other app you want

Note: although it works mainly through the device’s camera, the Text Ao Vivo is also implemented in the photo gallery. In that case, the same icon in the lower right corner appears on an image.
