First, it is important to note that the history feature is being released gradually. So, if it still hasn’t appeared in your app, wait a little longer.
It is also worth mentioning that this new option has a limitation: the platform only displays videos watched within seven days. That is, it is not possible to view very old content.
That said, follow the instructions below to learn how to see the history of videos watched on TikTok:
- Enter the profile area:Open the app and tap “Profile” in the lower right corner;
- Go to settings:Tap on the menu (three stacked lines) in the upper right corner and then on “Settings & Privacy”;
- Enter history:In the “Content and Activity” section, tap on the “Watched Video History” option;
- Find the video:The app will display all videos watched within seven days. Search for the desired content and watch it again;
- Clear history or disable the feature:To disable the function or simply clear all history, tap the gear icon in the upper right corner and select the desired option.
How to watch or history of non-TikTok videos
The platform also delivers a history of liked videos. Here’s how to find this option:
- With the app open, tap on “Profile” in the lower right corner;
- Tap on the heart icon positioned below the bio;
- Browse for the content you want — by default, the Liked Videos tab is private.
