- Put the part of your message you want to strikethrough between the ~ character. For example, to format the word “This is a strikethrough font” as strikethrough, type:

- Then send the message.
Changing WhatsApp Font Type (Monospace)
WhatsApp also supports an alternative font called Monospace. To change all or part of your message to Monospace font, follow these steps:
- Launch WhatsApp and open a chat with the person you want to message.
- Type a message as you normally would.
- Change your message to Monospace by placing three ` characters (back ticks) on either side of the text. For example, to format the word “This is the WhatsApp Monospace font” as Monospace, type:
